Icy Roads, no school, scrapbook progress

School is cancelled for today! Icy roads ment a free day to catch up on things. I thought I would begin updating the process of the wedding scrapbook. Its been six months and time to get things sorted. So Step one of gathering things is done. This week its Step 2, sorting the piles of papers, receipts, pictures and memorabilia for each segment of the wedding. In a couple of the pics you can see that I have used office paper box covers as trays for each event of the wedding(planning, vendors, dress shopping, family, rehearsal, etc etc.)This system seems to work for me so far. Yet, it overwhelms me when I have to sort after about 20 minutes....yikes...now I need to go thru and see if I have all the events. Then its on to Step 3, choosing the paper...I know, for you nonscrappers you are thinking I am insane!

These are some random pics taken for the 365 project. From a cool chandelier at a restaurant, to my DD dog taking a trip to McDonalds with us, to a box of one of my favorite cereals. There are also some outside pics of the house we took, an old pic of me and some of my siblings and a pic of the Christmas trivial booklets I made for the family from the questions I was asking them all during December. I wont bore you with more details but I am loving this project.

I am once again trying to do 365 catch up. Day 12 was stressful. The picture of the map shows denver airport as having major delays. I knew Chris and Jenny were flying thru there at the time and I was hoping they had made it. Jenny called that day and said all was well and they were on their way to dinner and the outlet mall in Orlando.
the next pic of the paper and cutter shows what I did all evening on day 13. I continue to work on my Christmas Memories mini scrapbooks for all the sibs. Making nine copies of a book is a big undertaking. It may take awhile to finish.
The pic of Kevins shows he and Bill enjoying an evening snackat Camp Cornholio. Bill is having fun with the other two boys, if only they would all sleep past 5am... the final pic is for the Facebook Faceoff. It was a 24 hour photo challenge. They give you a word and you have 24 hours to post a pic. this pic shows "reflection".

Catching up with photo 365

Ive been taking pics but have fallen behind in posting them. Jenny and Chris were here for a few hours this afternoon. We all went to lunch and then they returned to Missoula. They have left Bill with us while they go on their delayed honeymoon. He is a good dog and our two dogs love having him here. Right now they are all sleeping on various pieces of furniture.

Back to school

Well, the roads were pretty bad today but when the line of cars going the 12 or so miles into town all decide to drive 45 mph instead of the speed limit which is 70, it makes for a safer drive. Its dark for the drive to work so who knows if the road was icy... yuck... I got to work and realized that I didnt have my purse or any form of id on me.. so I was really careful driving home.
Here is a pic of Santa Riley playing in the snow. We got about 3 more inches of snow today. oh boy.

Snowshoeing on Day 4

We spent a relaxing day today packing up the Christmas stuff into their bins and then taking the dogs out on the lake to do some snow shoeing... low key but fun.
